Meet Our Team

Dr. Erin Wilkins, Veterinarian

Dr. Wilkins was born and raised in a small town of Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Science at Clemson University in South Carolina and then went on to earn her doctorate degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A few of her veterinary interests include pain management, internal medicine, dermatology, exotic animal care, as well as preventative medicine.

Over her years of being in the animal world, Dr. Wilkins has had amazing well-rounded experiences working at multiple Zoos, farms (including poultry, dairy, and beef cattle), whale rescue triaging and rehabilitation in the Keys of Florida, as well as working as an emergency clinician prior to returning to private practice.

Dr. Wilkins has 3 kids of her own — a Siberian Husky named “Nash,” a Newfoundland named “Cyan,” and a rescued cat named “Clem.” All could be models if their mama let them! In her free time, Dr. Wilkins enjoys spending quality time with her fur babies, photography, staying active working out, and sharing with the world her love for the #1 skincare line out there: Rodan + Fields.

Dr. Wilkins prides herself on treating your pets as if they were her very own, providing comprehensive care, and ultimately aims to help “both ends of the leash.” She has a great deal of passion for what she does and puts her entire heart into treating every single one of her patients! She looks forward to meeting you and your furry family as well!

Brittany, Office Manager/Veterinary Nurse

Brittany joined our practice in September 2018. She has been in the veterinary industry for 14 years. Brittany grew up in Chicago and escaped the cold weather when she moved to Vegas in 2016. She is very involved with her nonprofit animal rescue here in Las Vegas, and volunteers most of her free time helping animals in need. She also likes to spend her time hiking and taking road trips with her two dogs, Arya, and Ren. Brittany hopes to one day open up a sanctuary for disabled animals.

Destiny, Lead Licensed Veterinary Technician

Destiney Dinsman, LVT, joined the Paradise Pet Hospital team in September of 2018. She was born and raised in Las Vegas and enjoys the hot summer weather. Her mother introduced her to the veterinary field and she is a second-generation animal caregiver. Destiney brings over 8 years of experience to the team; 5 years of General Practice, and 3 years in Emergency Medicine. The College of Southern Nevada is where Destiney obtained her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. She is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Nevada and has a deep love of education. From a young age she always knew she wanted to help and learn about animals of all sizes, shapes, and textures. She has cared for small animals, large animals, and exotics. Her other great love has always been theatre, where she performs on stage and behind the scenes doing the makeup and costumes. She loves live music and her favorite artists are Muse and Amanda Palmer (The Dresden Dolls).

Destiney currently has 2 chihuahuas, and 1 cat. “BooBerry” is a feisty long-haired tabby who is a Blood Donor for the Animal Emergency Center of Las Vegas and Henderson. “Squeaky” is a tri-colored short hair chihuahua who loves to burrow in the covers. “Skippy” is a three-legged brown wire-haired chihuahua that Destiney fostered after being hit by a car and taken care of at the Animal Foundation. All of Destiney’s pets are rescues; she is a huge advocate to saving lives. Adopt, Don’t Shop!
